10-day international sculpture workshop concludes at
Faculty of Fine Arts, Subharti University

A 10-day sculpture workshop was concluded on 16 February 2024 under the auspices of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Swami Vivekananda Subharti University in which the Vice Chancellor of the University, Major General Dr. GK Thapliyal, Executive Officer Madam Dr. Shalya Raj, Principal Dr. Pintu Mishra, Head of the Department Dr. Pooja Gupta and advisors. International Affair: Denmark’s famous sculptor Line Ringtvedt was honored by Naresh Thapliyal by presenting a robe, memento and gift to Thordarsen. During the workshop, international sculptor Line Ringtvedt Thordarsen learned dance based on Indian method in the Performing Arts Department of Fine Arts and at the closing ceremony. Rajasthani dance performance was given and certificates were distributed to the participants of the workshop by international sculptor Line Ringtvedt Thordarson, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra, and Head of the Department, Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Gupta. Academic Coordinator of the department,Dr. Vandana Tomar, on stage and Conducted the program.

All the students participating in the workshop were very excited to learn the tricks and techniques of sculpture. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra said that this kind of teaching-training gives a new direction to the students and helps them develop their skills. We get guidance in making the future better. We will continue to organize such events from time to time.

Prof. (Dr.) Bhawana Grover, Mr. Dharam raj Gupta and all the teachers and students of Fine Arts Department were present in the closing program. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks to all.
