Report on Camp at Indian Oil Meerut Terminal, Vedvyaspuri
Free Physiotherapy camp was organized by Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University along with Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital, Meerut at Indian Oil Meerut Terminal, Vedvyaspuri, Meerut on 19.04.2022 and attended by 57 employees suffering from different problems of pain, breathing problems and other conditions. Each of the employees and workers was assessed for their individual problems such as low back pain, neck pain, hypertension and knee pain, breathing problems. Many of the problems were related to their occupation and lifestyle and ergonomic advice was given to them along with exercises. Since posture, neck, and back pain are common hence various exercises were demonstrated and home exercises were taught to them. The employees and workers have explained the importance of proper posture during driving, sitting, standing, etc and general aerobic exercises were also performed. Dr. Alka Agarwal along with the BPT interns conducted the camp.
