Capacity Building Training for Faculty
3 days Capacity building training program for faculty, was organized by Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty in collaboration with JHPIEGO on 16-05-2023 to 18-05-2023 at Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, Meerut. On this occasion our guest of honor was Dr. G. K. Thapliyal Vice Chancellor of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut and special GuestDr. Dinesh Senior Technical advisor, JHPIEGO of the program. The program was inaugurated by the dignitaries by lighting the lamp, with the inaugural opening of the nursing education study center and release the teaching evaluation module by Dr. G. K. Thapliyal Vice Chancellor of swami Vivekananda Subharti University,Dr. Dinesh Senior Technical advisor, JHPIEGO which was given by JHPIEGO. The welcome address given by Dr. Geeta Parwanda, Principal, Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College. And Vice chancellor enlighten to the participants by giving their valuable words and blessings. Capacity building training program for faculty run by the Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty, in which Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College has been selected as the Nodal Center in Uttar Pradesh by our Chief Minister Mr.
Yogi Aditya Nath in Mission Niramya. Dr. Geeta Parwanda is In-charge of the Nodal Center, Ms. Kalpana, Senior Program Officer, JHPIEGO, Mr.
Adi Shankar Senior Program Officer, JHPIEGO, and Mr.Neelkanth, Program Officer, JHPIEGO are the trainee of Nodal Center. They are giving the training to the mentor institutes – Panna DhaiMaa Subharti Nursing College, Meerut, Rohilkhand college of nursing, Bareilly, Sharda school of nursing science and research, GB Nagar, nightingale institute of nursing, Noida, college of Nursing, SVBP Hospital, LLRM medical college Meerut, IIMT college of medical sciences, Meerut and Hillary Clinton nursing school, Saharanpur.
Agenda of day 1 was welcome and introduction of participants, mission niramaya and its objectives, nursing eco system (curriculum plan), preparing teaching environment, overview of classroom teaching and clinical skill development and summarize the session. Vote of thanks day 1 given by Prof Anand Sam Perera. The program was successfully organized by Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College and JHPIEGO team under the supervision and guidance of Dr Geeta Parwanda Principal Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College.
