CELEBRATION OF WORLD NURSES DAY
World Nurses Day was celebrated at Swami Vivekananda Subharti University. Whose theme was OUR NURSES, OUR FUTURE. The theme was unveiled by Honorable Vice-Chancellor Major General (Retd) Dr. G. K. Thapliyal.
Signature campaign was started by Nursing Faculty on the theme ‘Our Nurses, Our Future’ in the premises of Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College.
On this occasion, on 12 May, 2023, in collaboration with CBSPD publishers, Professional Competitive Examination was organized in Nursing College from 12 noon to 1 pm.
The program was started with the Lamp Lighting Ceremony. Special guest Mr. Hemant Upadhyay, Director, CBSPD Publisher and Principal Dr. Geeta Parwanda inaugurated the program and after that professional competitive examination was started.
More than 140 students participated in the programme.
This exam was conducted online in the presence of the publisher. After the completion of the examination they have declared the result. Ms. Anupama Singh B.Sc Nursing third year got the first position, Anjali Sharma B.Sc Nursing third year got the second position. The vote of thanks was given by Mrs. Josie Jose, Assistant Professor,
Nurses Day program was organized by the Department of Medicine at Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital. Cake cutting was done on the occasion and Nursing Excellence Awards were presented to the Staff Nurses. Metro Hospital, District Women’s Hospital, Popular Hospital highlighted the theme Hamari Nurses Hamara Bhavishya and introduced their skills to the nursing community.
