Cycle Rally on the occasion of Bicycle Day 2024
A cycle rally was organized by the Faculty of Education on the occasion of Bicycle Day 2024 at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. All the Dean’s, HOD’s , faculty members , non-teaching members, students and NCC cadets of various colleges of the university participated in this rally. The objective of the rally was to spread awareness about environmental protection and health. The Cycle rally started with the flagging off by the Chief Guest- Honorable Vice Chancellor- Major General (Dr.) G.K. Thapliyal. The participants in the rally gave messages to protect the environment and adopt a healthy lifestyle. On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Professor (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar said that cycling is not only beneficial for health but it also helps in keeping the environment clean. He said that we should make cycling a part of our lives and spread its benefits in society. During the rally, the participants tried to create awareness among the people with slogans like “Do cycling Save Environment”. This event witnessed a lot of enthusiasm among the students and teachers and they pledged to actively participate in such events in future also. This cycle rally was organized under the patronage of event coordinator Dr. Roopam Jain, Mr. Kapil Shakya and their entire team.
