Jamia Hamdard Library
An Educational tour to Jamia Hamdard Library was carried out under the MOU between Swami Vivekanand Subharti University and Jamia Hamdard Library in which students of B.Lib and M.Lib Department of Library and Information Science, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University were taken to Central Library of Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi under the direction of Dr.
Sudhir Tyagi, HOD. The team visited Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi on 23.
05.2023 at 12.00 p.m. The University Librarian Dr. Shoaib and Assistant Librarian Dr. Riyazuddin, detailed a presentation about their various departments and services and explained the working and process of the Central Library during the Library visit. They informed the students about various techniques of Preservation and conservation of various traditional and new sources by the library. Especially, they emphasized on the rare literature and manuscripts stored there and instructed the team that it should be the main point of attraction for all the students.
