FRESHER’S PARTY 2023

The Major Dhyan Chand Department of Physical Education  organized a spectacular Freshers’ Party to warmly welcome the newcomers of the BPED, BPES, MPED, and MA Yoga programs. The event, held on 12th October,23 was graced by the esteemed presence of Major General GK Thapliyal, Vice-Chancellor of the University, as the Chief Guest, Special guest Dr. Dilfuza Jabborova from Uzbekistan , Dr. A.P Garg, Dean Acadmics and Er. Akash Bhatnagar, Assistant Director , Publicity and Printing department.

The party commenced with a heartwarming gesture as Professor Dr. Sandeep Kumar welcomed all the guest with a sapling, symbolizing growth, learning, and the future that awaited the freshers. This gesture underscored the department’s commitment to fostering a sustainable and eco-friendly environment for its students.

Saraswati Vandana, a prayer to the goddess of knowledge and wisdom, infusing the gathering with a sense of reverence and spirituality. This tradition reinforced the importance of education and cultural heritage within the department.

The highlight of the party was the captivating performances by the freshers. The newcomers showcased their diverse talents through music, dance, and drama. It was evident that these young talents held immense promise, and their enthusiasm added a vibrant atmosphere to the event.

To commemorate the occasion, tokens of love were presented to the freshers, symbolizing the department’s warm embrace and support as they embarked on their educational journey. This symbolic gesture also served to encourage and motivate the newcomers to excel in their academic pursuits and extracurricular activities.

The party wasn’t just about showcasing talent; it also featured fun games that provided an opportunity for interaction, ice-breaking, and fostering a sense of unity among the students. Laughter and camaraderie were in abundance as participants joined in various activities, making lasting memories.

As the party drew to a close, the event ended on a note of gratitude as a heartfelt vote of thanks was extended to Major General GK Thapliyal, who had graced the occasion with his presence. The appreciation was also extended to all those who had contributed to the successful organization of the event. This token of appreciation emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration within the academic community.

The Fresher’s Party was a vibrant and memorable event, with Adiya and Anmol crowned as Mr.  Freshers of BPES 2023,  Gungun and Charu were celebrated as the Miss Freshers of BPES 2023, while Akshay Kumar and Shubham Sagar earned the titles of Mr. Freshers for BPED. Anita and Kusum were recognized as Miss Freshers of BPED, and the night was made even more exciting with Prateek being honored as the Best Dancer. Additionally, Zuber was acknowledged as the Best Zehri, making the evening a delightful and engaging celebration.This recognition not only provided a sense of accomplishment to the selected individuals but also served as a source of inspiration for their fellow students.

The Freshers Party reached its pinnacle of excitement when all the faculty members joined the students on the dance floor, showcasing a harmonious blend of academic and social interaction. It was heartening to witness the faculty letting their hair down and sharing in the enthusiasm of the party.

The Freshers’ Party organized by the Major Dhyan Chand Department of Physical Education was a memorable and heartwarming event, setting the stage for the freshers to begin their academic journey on a positive note. It not only celebrated talent and unity but also emphasized the value of education and the importance of cultivating a strong sense of community within the department. As the new batch begins their academic journey, the department wishes them all the success and fulfillment in their endeavors.
