“Freshers party AAGAAZ 2023”

 Each year comes with new hopes, aspirations, and adventures. And each year new students fill the Department with enthusiasm through their power-packed aura and zeal. Shaheed Baba Deep Singh, Department of Home Science celebrated this enthusiasm with “Freshers party AAGAAZ 2023”. The party was organized on 11 Oct 2023, Wednesday at the Pandit Ravi Shankar Music Hall from 11 am onwards. The program was commenced by the lightening of the lamp in honor of the goddess Saraswati by HOD Dr. Nishma Singh and faculty. The program was anchored and engaged by Ms. Udessha and Ms. Shakshi. The party had a lot of performances to make the event memorable, such as solo dance performances and Games. The program’s beauty was enhanced by the fantastic sound system and DJ work by Prachi and Divya. After competing for the titles, Ms Vaishnavi and Ms Neha were announced as Ms Fresher UG and PG respectively, Ms Harshita(UG) and Ms Rashmi(PG) were announced as Ms personality and Ms Gungun(UG) and Ms Ashi(PG) were announced as Ms Beauty. In the end, HOD Dr. Nishma Singh motivated the students with her inspiring words. The program was concluded by a vote of thanks to all those who helped in the successful organization of this party and the distribution of gifts to freshers as a symbol of remembrance of the day. Ms. Urvashi Sharma and Ms. Virender Pal Kaur Coordinated with students for the smooth sailing of the event. All the faculties and non-teaching staff showed full support for the effective conduction of the program.
