Department of Biotechnology and Department of Botany of Keral Verma Subharti College of Science organized a guest lecture on 03/05/2023 under G-20 Summit 2023. The title of the event was “GET a LIFE: Promoting Eco-friendly Lifestyle”.
The program was started with the Maa Saraswati Vanadana and lamp lightening ceremony by the Dean of the College Prof. (Dr.) Renu Mavi, HOD, Department of Botany and Department of Biotechnology Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Dayal and other faculty members of the department. Dr. Harshal Kumar, Young Scientist, DST-BRICS was the keynote speaker of the event. Head of the department, Dr. Dayal welcome the chief guest with sapling and memento.
Dr. Harshal presented a very well lecture on “Get a LIFE: promoting eco-friendly lifestyle”. He motivated students to promote eco-friendly lifestyle and explained the importance of water as well as focused on promoting sustainable agriculture.
He highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in agriculture sector in its prospects in upcoming future. All students find the session very interactive and informative and put forward their wishes to attend such more lectures in future too. The program was jointly hosted by Prof. Anju, Dr. Khyati and Dr. Nisha. Organizers were Prof. Sangeeta Dayal, Dr. Permod Kumar, Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Dr. Manjul Mungali, Dr. Reshu Chaudhary, Dr. Adesh Kumar, Dr. Devendra Kumar and Dr. Faheem Ahamad. Finally, the session was concluded with a vote of thanks by the Head of the Department.
