International Language Day Celebration

The Department of Home Science celebrated International Language Day on February 21, 2023). Dr. Neetu Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Home Science, delivered a lecture on this occasion.

The lecture was titled “Harbhasha Har Boli ka Samman.” She covered the rationale behind why UNO began celebrating International Language Day in 2000.

In her lecture, she also discussed the University of Dhaka students’ demonstrations in support of Bengali language recognition. She concluded by trying to encourage everyone to protect their mother language and not be afraid to speak in their own language.
