A Mega Job Fair was organised at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University on 2nd & 3rd Feb 2021, where 501 jobs were offered by 20+ companies such as Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Bajaj, Paytm, Times of India etc. Students from B.Tech (all branches), MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA & Pharmacy gave interviews over 558 students were selected.
A two-day Mega Job Fair was held at the Engineering College of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. The inauguration was done by Brigadier Dr. V.P. Singh the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Subharti University.
On this occasion Vice Chancellor, Brigadier V.P. Singh gave his best wishes to all the students and said that it is a matter of great pleasure that more than 25 multinational companies have come to the University for student selection. He welcomed all the companies and said that Subharti University is establishing skill development among its students and such courses are being conducted on a large scale in which jobs can be provided immediately. He told that the basic objective of Subharti University is to inculcate a sense of national service in the students by giving them rites with education and that all the students should serve their mother by putting their qualifications in the national interest. He said that the Mega Job Fair will give the right direction to the career of the students and they will benefit from employment.
While wishing a bright future to all the students, Dr. Shalya Raj, Chief Executive Officer of Subharti University said that the selected students should work in the national interest by their ability. She said that the Mega Job Fair is providing a golden opportunity to the students to show their skills and it is a matter of great pleasure that the reputed companies of the country have come to select the students of Subharti University. She said that the main objective of organizing the Mega Job Fair is to provide employment opportunities to the students so that the students can get employment near the completion of the course. She especially said that the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji is committed to fulfilling the objective of self-reliant India with his efforts.
Dr. RK Ghai, Dean, and Director, Management Colleges, the Chief Coordinator of the Mega Job Fair, said that more than 25 companies have participated in the two-day employment fair in which Infosys, Bajaj Auto, Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, Paytm, Times of India, Hinduja Global, Rain TRW, Rockman, Micro Turns Autocraft, Card Experts India, Live Ford Health Care, Rishishawar Construction, Nanda Glass, Pracharnama Media, Eminent India Solution, Shivsoam Management & Facility Service, Bridge Group Solution, Investiture, Shining Star, Devcom Telecommunication, PickTel, Lakshmi Finance, etc. Companies have come for the placement of students.
Dr. Manoj Kapil, Principal of Engineering Colleges, the coordinator of the fair, informed that about 700 students have registered on the first day of the two-day Mega Job Fair. He informed that more than 25 companies have been affected by the skill development qualities and educational qualifications of students of Subharti University, by giving appointment letters to the students selected on the second day of the fair, their package, etc. will be announced.
Dr. Mukesh Ruhela, Dr. Mahavir Singh, Dr. Vaibhav Goyal Bhartiya, Dr. Pintu Mishra, Dr. Neeraj Karn Singh, Dr. Shokendra Kumar, Dr. Shiv Mohan Verma, Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary, Mr. Supratim Saha, Mr. Harshvardhan Kaushik, Mr.Naresh Kumar, Mr. Laik Hasan, etc. were also present on the occasion.
