One Day Workshop on Fashion Illustration 

On December 18, 2023, a One-Day Fashion Illustration Workshop was organized by the Department of Fashion and Textile Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. It was a remarkable success. Dr. Neetu Malhotra, a distinguished expert in the field, led the workshop, providing invaluable insights into sketching techniques, head theories, and their practical applications.

The event was made possible through the collaborative efforts and key individuals. We extend our gratitude to Dr. Pintu Mishra, the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, for his support. Special appreciation goes to Dr. Neha Singh, Head of the Department of Design, along with other faculty members, including Ms. Shradha Yadav, Ms. Anisha Anand, Dr. Arpana Kamboj, Dr. Meenakshi Tamta, Ms. Saumya Sharma, and Ms. Abhilasha, for their significant contributions.

The workshop witnessed active participation from 45 students, showcasing their enthusiasm and commitment to learning. The interactive sessions facilitated practical skill development aligned with industry standards.

In recognition of Dr. Neetu Malhotra’s exceptional contributions, she was honored during the closing ceremony. A traditional patka, a commemorative memento, and a vibrant planter were presented as tokens of appreciation.

The workshop not only met its objectives but also emphasized the department’s dedication to providing practical and industry-relevant education. The collaborative efforts of the faculty and the active participation of students made this event a meaningful and enriching experience.
