Painting by Dr. Pintu Mishra selected for France Art Summit
A painting made by Dr. Pintu Mishra, Principal, Subharti Fine Arts College has been selected for ‘France International Art Summit’ in the 62nd National Art Convention held by Srijan Art & Artists Society at Triveni Kala Deergha. Dr. Pintu Mishra has had a long and distinguished career in painting. Dr. Mishra, a dedicated artist from the very beginning, has earned national & international honours, conferred on him by many reputed institutions from time to time. His paintings, namely After Bath, Lady with Wine Glass, Prateeksha, Chahat, etc. based on subjects like ‘the beauty of woman’, are part of many art galleries not only in India but also in several other countries. Many students taught by Dr. Mishra are pursuing a successful career in painting. Two paintings, namely Fragile and Beauty of Moon, made by Dr. Mishra were displayed in the exhibition. Both of these oil paintings were truly a centre of attraction for all the visitors.
