He gave a brief introduction about the “history of the library” and explains the “historical value” of this library very well. Rampur Raza Library is a treasure house of Indo Islamic learning and arts which was founded by “Nawab Faizullah Khan” in 1744 who ruled the State until 1794 and formed the nucleus of the library through his personal collection of valuable and rare manuscripts, historical documents, books, and paintings kept in the Royal Toshakhana. The library has More than 100000 lakh manuscripts, 83000 printed books besides 5000 miniature paintings albums, 3000 specimens of Islamic Calligraphy, and 250 Palm leaves, art objects, and astronomical instruments. Also, the historical coins were available in the library. Students asked different questions about the collection and preservation techniques used in the library. After that, we all visited the library where the manuscripts, calligraphy, coins, books, etc. were collected and preserved.  It was a new, interesting and Informative experience for all of us. The purpose of this tour was to make the students aware of the library organization, functions, and various services provided in the library. We arrived back at 6:00 pm at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. We all had a safe and enjoyable tour with lots of information.
