REPORT ON SKILL COMPETENCY PROGRAMME ON NURSE LED HEART FAILURE MANAGEMENT
On the occasion of International Nurses week – May’2023, Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing college has organized a Skill competency programme on Nurse Led Heart Failure Management on 13.05.2023 in Maharani Laxmibai Auditorium, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University.
The Programme started at 2 pm with the prayer song by inviting Lord Saraswathi, while the dignitaries litten the lamp to share the knowledge with others. Welcome address was delivered by the Dean and the Principal Dr. Geeta Parwanda and shared the idea of heart failure management importance.
In order to celebrate the nurses day and to share the power of nurses, Cake cutting ceremony was held and it was shared to all the participants.
The main session of Nurse Led Heart failure management was delt by the resource person Dr. L. Gopichandran, Asso Prof, College of Nursing, AIIMS, NewDelhi.
The first session he discussed about the causes, risk factors and signs and symptoms of the heart failure.
The second session was regarding the management of heart failure and about the establishing evidence through Nurse Led Heart Failure Clinic, where he explained detailly about the assessment and the patterns of management practiced in Govt setup.
The programme was very much informative and helpful for all the participants. At the end of the session question and answer session was held and the participants have cleared the doubts.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Anandh Sam Perera and the coorganizers are Asst. Prof. Kushboo, Asst. Lect. Archana and Asst. Lect. Kavita.
The participants benefited by this programme are the nursing officers of the Chhathrapati Sivaji Subharti Hospital and the Interns of Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College.
