Students pursuing Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology in 3rd year & 4th year have been selected for six months Industrial Training at “The Welcome Hotel Savoy Hotel”, Mussoorie and “The Holiday Inn”, Chandigarh. Mr. Saurabh Tripathi, Training and Placement officer for The welcome Savoy, said that Human Resource Manager Mr. Negi interviewed the students through video conferencing, in which Two students – Aditya Mohan Dyundi and Aman Singh were selected. Mr. Saurabh Tripathi also said that like every year, this time also the industrial training and placement of almost all the students of the department is almost completed. The remaining students will be placed in a five-star hotel by the end of March.
Four more students Asif Rana, Asif Chaudhary, Subash Mishra and Azad Chaudhary were selected by “The Holiday Inn”, Chandigarh for six months of industrial training.
On this occasion, Head of Institution Dr. Shiv Mohan Verma thanked the Training and Placement Officers of both the hotels for the successful placement of students for Industrial Training and informed that the hospitality industry which is most affected by the Corona epidemic is now improving at very rapid and immense possibilities of employment will be re-created.
