Report of the workshop on Layout Design Using Open Source EDA Tool Microwind organized by Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering on 5th April 2022
A workshop on Layout Design Using Open Source EDA Tool Microwind was organized on 5th April 2022 in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Subharti Institute of Technology and Engineering located at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, where the use of microwind tools, circuit design simulation and Information about schematic design was given. During the workshop, each student was given an opportunity to do hands-on training and practice by the coordinators of the workshop. Students enthusiastically participated in this workshop and fully contributed to each and every experiment of the specially designed workshop.
Through this workshop, the participants were also made to work on different workbooks. Dr. Manoj Kapil, Dean and Principal of the institute congratulated the HOD Er. Amit Kumar and the workshop coordinators Er. Supratim Saha, Er Rajesh Parihar for organizing the workshop related to the Microwind tool.Learning outcome:
- Students learned about the details of the Microwind tool
- Students learned to design layouts using the Microwind tool.
- Students learned to compile and simulate basic structures of Electronics with the help of this tool.
