World Optometry Awareness Week was organized by the Department of Paramedical Sciences, Subharti Medical College from 17.03.2024 to 23.03.2024 in which poster models, lectures and street play were organized by the students.
On this occasion, Honorable Vice Chancellor Major General Dr. G.K. Thapliyal, Dr. Satyam Khare, Vice-Principal, Subharti Medical College, Dr. H.S. Minhas, Medical Superintendent Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital, Dr. D.C. Saxena, Director General, Department of Paramedical Sciences, Dr. V.K. Malik, Head of Department of Ophthalmology, Subharti Medical College, Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj Kishore Mishra, Head of Department of Paramedical Sciences, inaugurated the newly constructed Optometry Lab. Optometry faculty Dr. R.K. Manik and Ms. Khushi Kansal had special contribution in this entire event.On this occasion, students were made aware through street play to take eye diseases seriously and prevent them through proper treatment, later an awareness rally was also organized in Subharti University campus, on this occasion all the teachers were present.
