A virtual Surya Namaskar program was organized in Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences to mark the occasion of Makar Sankranti on 14th January 2022 under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. and also to promote the event with a tagline “Surya Namaskar For Vitality” and सूर्यनमस्कार जीवनी शक्ति का आधार.
The event was conducted on zoom meeting (virtual meeting platform) and during the event, students had performed 12 rounds of Suryanmamaskar.
Dr. Guneri Devi, Dr. Aparna A Raj & Dr. Jeeneshwori Chanu had conducted the virtual session with overall in charge by Dr. Nair Dhiren Ajit.
The event was conducted successfully and a total of 10 Postgraduates and 170 undergraduate students were benefited from the event.
College also received an institutional participant certificate for the event from the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.
