The Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, inaugurated its five-day flagship technical, cultural, and sports festival VIGYANOTSAV 2026 at the Satyajit Ray Auditorium. The event was inaugurated by Shri Anil Kumar Ji, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Science & Technology, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in the presence of Dr. Vikrant Jawla, Politician & Social Worker, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
A key highlight of the event was the inauguration of VIGYANOTSAV 2026 and the launch of the AICTE IDEA Lab at the Faculty of Engineering & Technology. The lab aims to promote innovation, hands-on learning, and startup culture among students.
The ceremony began with the traditional lamp lighting, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Mukesh Ruhela, Convener. Dr. Shalya Raj, CEO, and Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, addressed the gathering and emphasized the university’s commitment to innovation and research excellence.
In his keynote address, Shri Anil Kumar Ji encouraged students to use technology for nation-building. The Minister also visited the Project Exhibition, coordinated by Er. K. K. Sharma, showcasing student innovations in AI, IoT, and Solar Energy.
Organized under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kapil, Dean, FET, VIGYANOTSAV 2026 will continue until March 31, 2026, featuring international guests, a National-Level AI Hackathon, technical competitions, and cultural performances.
VIGYANOTSAV 2026 aims to promote innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and entrepreneurship among students while strengthening scientific and technological development.
