PRAVAAH – THE FLOW CULTURAL CLUB EVENTS

Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law organized its Annual Function 2026 titled “Pravaah: The Flow” from 26.02.2026 to 28.02.2026. During the celebration, various cultural events were organized by the Cultural Club of Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law. These activities provided students with a dynamic platform to showcase their creativity, talent, and artistic abilities while celebrating diverse cultural expressions. A total of 135 students registered and actively participated across multiple competitions, making the programme vibrant and engaging. The programme was conducted under the overall supervision of Justice Rajesh Chandra, Former Judge of the Allahabad High Court and Director, Faculty of Law, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, and was successfully organized under the effective leadership and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Reena Bishnoi, Officiating Dean, Faculty of Law, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. Their continuous support ensured adherence to institutional values and academic decorum.

Theme: Free Expression (No specific theme
Objective: To highlight individual musical talent.
Outcome: Successful and engaging participation with creative displays.

Results: Ankita and Vikhyat Singh both from 6 semester bagged special mentions in this category

  1. Nukkad Natak

Theme: Contemporary Issues in India

Objective: To raise social awareness and encourage students to communicate important social messages through theatrical performances. 

Outcome: Participants effectively portrayed pressing societal issues through impactful storytelling and strong stage performances.

Results: two teams bagged special mentions in this category

3. Mehendi

Theme: Indian Culture Tradition

Objective: To celebrate traditional art of India.
Outcome:
Participants created intricate and aesthetically appealing designs reflecting Indian cultural motifs.

Results: Ist position: Karishma Kashyap, IInd position: Arpita, IIIrd position: Gungun.

4. Painting

Theme: The Beauty of Nature vs. The Impact of Pollution


Objective: To encourage students to express environmental concerns and the importance of nature conservation through visual art.

Outcome: Participants presented powerful artistic interpretations depicting the contrast between natural beauty and environmental degradation.

Results: Ist position: Himanshi, IInd position: Ishika Sahai, IIIrd position: Bhumika Yadav.

  1. Face Painting

Theme: Women Empowerment

Objective: To promote awareness about women’s empowerment and gender equality through creative face art.

Outcome: Students presented meaningful and imaginative artistic representations symbolizing strength, dignity, and empowerment of women.

Results: Ist position: Ayush Anand  , IInd position: Sadhika Bansal , IIIrd position: Kesar.

6. Solo Singing

Theme: Bollywood songs

Objective: To provide a platform for students to showcase their vocal talent and musical expression through popular Bollywood songs.
Outcome:
Participants delivered soulful performances that captivated the audience and demonstrated strong musical abilities.

Results: Ist position: Kasturi Arya, IInd position: Md. Gulam Gosh  , IIIrd position: Vaidehi Paliwal

7. Solo Dance

Theme: telling a story through musical expression

Objective: To encourage students to express emotions and narratives through dance performances.

Outcome: Participants displayed excellent stage presence, creativity, and storytelling through expressive dance performances.

Results: Ist position: Ashima Ratnakar & Komal Kumari, IInd position: Smriti Anand, IIIrd position: Shreya Rathour

8. Group Singing

Theme: Cultural Diversity of India

Objective: To promote unity, harmony, and appreciation of India’s diverse musical traditions.
Outcome: The performances showcased vibrant musical coordination and highlighted India’s cultural diversity.

Results: two teams bagged special mentions in this category

9. Group Dance
Theme: Rythms of Rural India

Objective: To promote appreciation for Indian folk traditions and rural cultural expressions through dance.

Outcome: Students presented energetic and synchronized performances inspired by traditional Indian dance forms.

Results: Ist position: Jiya Sharma and Tanu Shree, IInd position: (group) Ashima Ratnakar, Karishma Thakur, Gungun, Vishakha, Akansha Tiwari, Bebi Kumari, IIIrd position: Vaidehi Paliwal and Komal Kumari.

10.   Fashion Show
Theme: Threads of India- showcasing traditional attires from different states
Objective: To celebrate India’s diverse cultural heritage through traditional costumes and creative presentations.
Outcome:
Participants beautifully represented the rich textile traditions and cultural diversity of different Indian states.

Results: Ist position: Cultural Crown, IInd position: Royal Drip, IIIrd position: Bhojpuri Beauty.

11.   SLC MasterChef
Theme: Non-Fire Food

Objective: To encourage culinary creativity and promote healthy food preparation without the use of fire.
Outcome:
Participants showcased innovative, nutritious, and visually appealing dishes using simple ingredients and creative presentation techniques.

Results: Ist position: George Selestine and Ritika, IInd position: Srishti Sirohi and Ritika Gupta, IIIrd position: Srishti Verma and Ankita.

  1. Treasure Hunt

Objective: To enhance teamwork, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills through an interactive and engaging activity.
Outcome: The event encouraged collaboration, quick decision-making, and strategic thinking among participants.

Results: Ist position: Vishal Sherawat , IInd position: Bhumika Yadav, IIIrd position: Kanishka

 Judging and Recognition:-

Each event was evaluated by expert judges who are alumni of the Institute. The judges’ decisions were final and were based on criteria such as creativity, relevance to the theme, presentation, coordination, and adherence to the rules. The winners of each competition will be awarded trophies and merit certificates in the presence of faculty members and peers.

The Cultural celebrations under “Pravaah: The Flow” successfully brought together creativity, talent, and enthusiasm, transforming the campus into a vibrant platform of artistic expression. The programme not only entertained the audience but also provided students with meaningful opportunities to develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.

The enthusiastic participation of students and the quality of performances reflected the immense talent and cultural spirit present in Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law. Such initiatives play a vital role in promoting holistic education by balancing academic excellence with cultural and creative development. The success of the event also strengthened the sense of community within the institution and inspired students to actively contribute to future cultural and academic activities.
