Workshop on “Cloud Computing Essentials: Learn, Build & Deploy”
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU), Meerut, successfully organized a workshop on “Cloud Computing Essentials: Learn, Build & Deploy” on 26 August 2026 for B.Tech. CSE students at MMM Seminar Hall.
The session was conducted by Mr. Vedant Joshi, Cloud Expert, Data Science Trainer, and Technology Consultant (CETPA Infotech, Noida). He delivered an insightful session focusing on the fundamentals and practical applications of Cloud Computing in the modern IT industry.
During the workshop, the resource person explained key concepts such as cloud infrastructure, virtualisation, and deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) along with an overview of leading cloud service providers. He also demonstrated how applications can be built, deployed, and managed on cloud platforms, providing students with valuable industry-oriented exposure.
The workshop emphasized the importance of cloud computing in enabling scalable applications, efficient data storage, and flexible computing environments. Students gained practical understanding of how cloud technologies support real-world software development and deployment processes.
A large number of students actively participated in the session and interacted with the expert to clarify their doubts and enhance their understanding of cloud-based systems.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Sanjiv, Dr. Ankur, Dr. Ashima, Dr. Amit, Dr. Tarun, and Dr. Divya, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, with the support of Dr. Shravan Garg, HoD, CSE & IT, FET, SVSU, and Prof. Dr. Manoj Kapil, Principal, SVSU.
The session successfully enhanced students’ understanding of cloud computing concepts, deployment strategies, and industry practices, and motivated them to explore career opportunities in the field of cloud computing and modern IT infrastructure.
