A Guest Lecture on “Antibiotics in Dentistry (Uses and Misuses)” was organized to enhance the knowledge on judicial usage of Antibiotics prescribed before and after Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical and General Dentistry procedures, for the Post-Graduate students of Subharti Dental College by the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The speaker for the occasion was Dr. (Maj. Gen.) G. K. Thapliyal (Professor& Head, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, ITS Dental College, Greater Noida).
A two day workshop on “Advance Implantology – Zygomatic and All on four Implants” was conducted by the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in association with the Delhi NCR State Chapter of AOMSI, on 18th and 19th of September 2019. Course was conducted by Dr. Sankalp Mittal (Professor & Head Government Dental College, Jaipur). Live demonstration of two cases was performed, followed by hands on course on dummy jaws. Both national and international participants highly appreciated the workshop.
