A health awareness rally was organized by the Community Medicine Department of the Subharti Medical College, Meerut. The rally was flagged off by the Principal of Subharti Medical College, Dr. Mahesh Kumar Mittal. Approximately 200 students from the MBBS 2023 batch and fifty students from the Nursing College* participated in this rally. The rally started from the Medical College and passed through Subharti Hospital, Punjab National Bank, Subharti Physiotherapy College, Charak Medical Store, and Subharti Nursing College, finally concluding in the Medical College premises. Dr. Rahul Bansal, Dr. Varsha Chaudhary, Dr. Anuradha Dave, Dr. Monika Gupta, Dr. Chhavi Kiran Gupta, Dr. Rijul Ranjan, Dr. Sarvjeet Singh, Dr. Kaynat Nasser, Dr. Sartaj Ahmad, the faculty of the Nursing College, all undergraduate students, and interns participated in the rally.
All the non-teaching staff of the Community Medicine Department, including Hirdesh Kumar, Mohammad Farhat, Satish Kumar, Atar Singh, Vimal Kumar, Mashrool Ahmed, etc., also contributed to the rally.
At the end of the program, bananas were distributed to all the participants.
