The Faculty of Management and Commerce & Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, commemorated 150 glorious years of Vande Mataram by organizing an inter-departmental quiz competition. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing various departments, who competed in teams—Team A, Team B, Team C, and Team D.
The primary objective of the competition was to honor the historic legacy of Vande Mataram, a song that played a pivotal role in India’s freedom struggle and national awakening. The quiz aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the song’s origin, composer, historical background, and its enduring significance in India’s independence movement.
On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Commerce, Dr. Professor Padma Misra, addressed the students and elaborated on the historical importance and patriotic essence of Vande Mataram, inspiring young minds with its timeless relevance.
The quiz competition was efficiently conducted by the Event Coordinator, Ms. Shivani Gupta. The success of the event was further strengthened by the dedicated efforts of the Co-coordinators—Dr. Rakhi Kumari Jha, Ms. Akansha Sengar, and Dr. Rohil Bhatnagar, whose valuable contributions ensured smooth execution of the program.
