Diwali Fest (02-11- 2021)
Cultural Committee, Department of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut organized Diwali-Fest on 02 November 2021. In this fest different types of stalls were organized by the students of M. Ed, B. Ed, B.El. ED classes. Arrangement of various stalls of food and Decoratives items and games were done by the students of B.El. Ed, B. Ed M.Ed.
Prof (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education and Prof (Dr.) Anoj Raj, Head Department of Education welcomed Dr. Shalya Raj Chief Executive Officer, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
Dr. Shalya Raj visited all the stalls and appreciated the events saying that these types of fests should be celebrated from time to time to encourage students. She also appreciated covid protocol during arranging food items as well as decorative stalls too. She tasted food items and bought handmade decorative items.
All participants were very happy and eager to visit their own stall by all visitors. Faculty and students also bought decorative items from the stalls.
Total thirteen stalls (Food stalls, Mehandi counter, Diwali decorative items stalls Games stalls, etc) were arranged by the participants. (Pranci, Sujata, Khusi, Bhavna, Himanshu, Preetam, shaksi pal, Anjali, pooja, Priya, Retika, Parul, Shahnawaz, Anushriya, Kirti, Shagaf)
Dr. Rahul Sirohi, Dr. Vibha Laxmi, Dr. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Dr. Mumtaj Sheikh, Dr. Majid Sadeeq
Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Mr Rahul Kumar, Mr Rajeev Kumar, Mr Ashok Kumar Yadav, were presented at the Fest. Mrs. Reshu Rani, coordinator of the Cultural Committee with Mrs. Reeba Devi and Mrs. Kusum conducted this Diwali-Fest.
