Educational visit to Visual Eyez, Noida

Subharti College of Allied and Healthcare students visit the Visual Eyez , Noida on 09.10.2025

Subharti College of Allied and Healthcare was organized a “Field Visit Program” for Bachelor of Optometry Students under the MoU between Visual Eyez India and Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut on 09.10.2025. The initiative aimed to provide practical exposure and hands-on learning opportunities to the students of the Department of Optometry.A group of 44 Optometry students from Subharti College of Allied and Healthcarevisited Visual Eyez India Centre, Sector – 20, Noida, U.P. as part of an educational field visit. The visit was accompanied by 02 faculty members Dr. Ravindra Kumar Manik and Mrs. Khushi Kansal, Assistant Professors from the Department of Optometry, SCAH, who guide and supervised the students throughout the program.

During the visit, students observed various aspects of clinical optometry practices, including ocular examination procedures, eye screening techniques, and the use of advanced diagnostic instruments. The visit enabled them to correlate their theoretical knowledge with real-world applications and understand the professional standards followed in the eye care industry. Experts from Visual Eyez demonstrated the assessment of visual functions, refraction methods, and ocular health evaluation. Students also interacted with optometrists and technical staff, gaining insights into patient care management, community outreach programs, and the importance of preventive eye care. This collaborative initiative under the MoU reflects the shared vision of both institutions to enhance the quality of optometric education through experiential learning and industry partnerships. The program concluded with an interactive session, where students expressed their gratitude for the enriching experience and valuable guidance received.Such field-based learning programs continue to strengthen the bridge between academia and industry, preparing students to become competent professionals in the field of eye care.

On this visit the Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj Kishor Mishra, Principal SCAH, emphasized the immense benefits of the recent industrial visit to Visual Eyez, Noida, organized under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). He highlighted that such visits bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application, allowing students to gain firsthand exposure to modern technologies and professional practices in the healthcare industry. The Principal appreciated the collaboration with Visual Eyez for providing students with valuable insights into diagnostic techniques, equipment handling, and workplace ethics. He further mentioned that these experiences enhance students’ confidence, skill sets, and employability, preparing them to meet the evolving demands of the healthcare sector. Such initiatives, he noted, strengthen academia-industry relationships and ensure that future healthcare professionals are not only knowledgeable but also industry-ready.
