Organized a Fresher’s Party
“FRESHER’S FRAGRANCE”
On 23rd September, 2023
Department of Liberal Arts and Humanities organized the Fresher’s Party 2023 at Swami Vivekananda Subharti University. The First Year students of the academic year 2023-24 were invited and welcomed by the second year and third year students for the Fresher’s Party 2023.
The beginning of the program was set out by lighting of the lamp before the Goddess of Knowledge, Maa Saraswati by Prof. (Dr.) Sudhir Kumar Tyagi, Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Dr.
Manoj Kumar Tripathi, HOD, Dr. Shravan Garg, Principal, SITE, Dr. Seema Sharma, Department of languages and all the faculty members of the department.
Sapling of plants were also presented to all the dignitaries. HOD Sir presented the Sapling to Prof. Sudhir Kumar Tyagi , Dean, FASS, Dr. Rafat Khanam presented the sapling to Prof. Shravan Garg , the Principal of Subharti Institute of Technology. Dr. Durvesh Kumar presented the sapling to Dr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi , the HOD, Department of Liberal Arts and Humanities and Dr. Amrita Chaudhary presented the sapling to Dr. Seema Sharma.
The programme included approximately 100 students who enjoyed the party, the theme of the party was “Fresher’s Fragrance”. The students gave performances on different songs and also exhibited their talents through singing, dancing, poetry and mono acting. Ms. Anshu Kumari of B.A. 3rd year performed Saraswati Vandana. Then Nikita Sirohi B.A. 5th semester student performed a beautiful dance performance on a mashup dance song. Pema B.A. III year student , performed on a Hindi song and it was a treat to watch such fantastic performance from an International student. Siya Sharma B.A. 2nd year student, Jahnvi from B.A. 1st year, Bhaavi B.A. student, Gunjan Anshika, Kaynaat from B.A. 1rst year, Anishka B.A. student performed excellent solo dance performances. Audience was spell-bound by the performances. Azeem from B.A. 3rd year sung a melodious song and Manjeet Goswami delievered a motivational and value oriented speech which was highly appreciated by all. The senior batch also performed their talent to welcome and motivate their juniors.
Awards were also given to the students in various categories like Most Attractive award, Most Handsome award. Mr. Fresher award was given to Mr. Manjeet Goswami and Miss Fresher award was given to Miss Kaynat.
Certificates to the students for “One Week Skill Development Program” which was conducted by Dr. Rafat Khanam to enhance their writing were also presented. An eye-catching Rangoli was made by Payal, Nirmita and Priyanshi, All the guests’ showers praises on them.
The pass out students were also welcomed and awarded Mr. and Miss Farewell. Miss Farewell was given to Tashi Dem and Thuji wangda subba was given Mr. Farewell.
Our Hon’ble CEO, Dr. Shalya Raj mam send her wishes to the students for their huge success and all the best for all their future endeavours. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor also send his best wishes to the students for more hard work and consistency which will take them to new heights.
Our Dean sir Dr. Sudhir Kumar Tyagi gave a welcoming speech and shower his blessings to the new students. The programme was hosted by Miss Shreya M.A. 3rd semester and Mr. Anshu Kumar B.A. 2nd year students.
The Organizing Coordinator Dr. Rafat Khanam and Dr. Amrita and Dr. Durvesh kumar and the student organizers Nikita Sirohi and Pema Dechen were appreciated by the department Head , Department of Liberal Arts and Humanities and by Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences for their well organized program and efforts to conduct the event in a great manner.
The programme was concluded by the HOD sir’s speech. Dr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi sir presented Vote of Thanks, congratulated the students and wishing them all the best for work-hard and fulfill their commitments to be successful in life. He also thanked the Hon’ble CEO mam, Dr. Shalya Raj, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Sir, Dean Sir, Principal of Subharti Institute of Technology Dr. Shravan Garg, members of the Organizing team Nikita Sirohi, Pema Dechen, Laiba, Rushda, Huzaifa, Vasu, Priya, Khalid and Azeem, Anshu Kumar and Shreya (the anchors) and all the faculty members, staff and all those who helped in making the event a success and assured to have more such programs in future.
