The Department of Periodontology & Implantology, Subharti Dental College & Hospital organized a guest lecture on the topic “Peri- Implantitis – Diagnosis & Management”, aimed at enhancing the clinical understanding and skills of students regarding one of the most pressing challenges in implant dentistry today.
The guest speaker for the session was Dr. Esha Katyayen, a renowned Periodontist and Implantologist at OSLO, Norway with extensive experience in implant-related complications and regenerative techniques. The lecture provided a comprehensive insight into the etiology, risk factors, clinical and radiographic diagnosis, as well as evidence-based treatment strategies for managing peri-implantitis.
