Guest Lecture on Vision Management Organized on World Optometry Day at Subharti College

The Department of Optometry, Subharti College of Allied and Healthcare, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “Vision Management in OPD” on the occasion of World Optometry Day on March 28, 2026.
The session was delivered by Dr. Sindhuja Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, Subharti Medical College. The lecture focused on enhancing students’ understanding of effective vision management practices in outpatient departments and their clinical significance.
Bachelor of Optometry students actively attended the session and gained valuable insights into practical aspects of patient care and vision management in clinical settings. The lecture proved to be highly informative and beneficial for strengthening their clinical knowledge.
The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Ravindra Kumar Manik, Head of the Department (HOD), Department of Optometry, along with Mrs. Hiba Khan, Assistant Professor, and Mrs. Khushi Kansal, Assistant Professor, whose efforts ensured smooth coordination and active participation.
Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj Kishor Mishra, Principal, appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to actively engage in such academic activities to enhance their professional skills and knowledge.
