Inaugration Ceremony of New Physiotherapy OPD
Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized the inauguration ceremony of its newly established Physiotherapy Outpatient Department (OPD) and Open Gym facility on 20th February 2026. The occasion marked a significant milestone in the ongoing expansion and enhancement of the institution’s clinical and rehabilitative infrastructure.
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Executive Officer (EO), Dr. Krishna Murti, who formally inaugurated the new Physiotherapy OPD by cutting the ribbon. His presence added great dignity to the event and symbolized the commencement of enhanced clinical services within the college. The program began with a formal welcome address delivered by the respected Officiating Principal, Dr. Amit Kumar Goel, who extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. In his address, he emphasized the importance of the new OPD in strengthening patient care services, advancing clinical exposure, and providing comprehensive practical training opportunities for students.
Subsequently, the Open Gym facility was inaugurated by the respected Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Pawan Parashar. The establishment of the Open Gym reflects the institution’s commitment to promoting preventive healthcare, physical fitness, rehabilitation, and overall well-being among students, staff, and the community.
To invoke divine blessings for the successful functioning of the newly inaugurated facilities, a Havan Pooja ceremony was organized within the college premises. Faculty members, administrative staff, and students participated with devotion and enthusiasm, reflecting the cultural ethos and collective spirit of the institution.
The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and accomplishment. The inauguration of the Physiotherapy OPD and Open Gym stands as a testament to the college’s unwavering commitment to excellence in education, advanced clinical practice, and holistic healthcare services.
