Objective: To provide students with practical exposure to corporate work culture, understand the latest technologies used in the IT industry, and bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial practices.
An Industrial Visit to Capgemini, Noida was conducted by the Computer Science & Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SVSU on 11TH-SEP-2025 for the 3rd-year students.
The visit began with an orientation session conducted by the HR and Technical Experts of Capgemini. Students were introduced to the company’s profile, global presence, and services in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, and Cyber security.
The experts explained the importance of Agile methodology, teamwork, and industry-ready skills required for IT professionals. A workplace tour was arranged where students got exposure to different departments and observed real-time project workflows.
Students interacted with industry professionals and learned about current trends, career opportunities, and future scope in the IT sector. The session emphasized corporate expectations, interview preparation, and required certifications.
The visit was successfully conducted under the guidance and presence of Dr. Manoj Kapil,(Professor & Dean) and Dr. Shravan Garg (HoD, CSE & IT, FET, SVSU). It was organized by Dr. Ashima (Associate Professor, CSE).
45 students benefitted from this industrial visit.
Outcome:
The students gained insights into corporate culture, industry practices, and emerging technologies, which will help them, enhance their technical knowledge and career readiness.
