International Nurses Day was celebrated on 10/5/25 with great enthusiasm and respect to honor the dedication, compassion, and contributions of nurses in the healthcare sector. The event was organized under the theme “Our Nurses. Our Future. The Economic Power of Care” as declared by the International Council of Nurses (ICN) for the year 2025.

Program Highlights:

Inauguration:
The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by SHIBIN MATHEW (ANS) followed by a lighting of the lamp ceremony. The Chief Guest,   DR H S MIHAS (SMS) inaugurated the program and delivered an inspiring address highlighting the role of nurses in shaping a healthier future.Followed speeches given to DR SANJEEV SIR (MS), DR ARUN KUMAR FROM ONCOLOGY DEPARTMENT, DR GEETA PRABHAKAR MAM DEAN (NURSING COLLEGES), SANJU SOLANKI (NS) MAM

ONE MINUTES SILENT PRAYER DONE DURING THE WAR FOR  OUR  BORDER SECURITY FORCE

Keynote Address:
GEETA PRABHAKAR DEAN  NURSING COLLEGE, a senior nursing professional, spoke on the theme and emphasized the importance of investment in nursing education and workforce.

Cultural Performances:
Students and staff participated in a variety of cultural events including SWARASWATHI VANDANA,  DANCE PERFORMANCE,  WASTE MATERIAL PRODUCT Making and ROLE PLAY About patient care and soft skills  that showcased the spirit and challenges of the nursing profession.

Awards and Felicitations:
Outstanding nurses were recognized for their dedication and excellence in service. Certificates and mementos were distributed by the dignitaries.

Interactive Sessions:

waste material product making and arts  competitions were organized to engage the staff and students, followed by a vote of thanks by SANJU SOLANKI (NS) MAM.

Conclusion:
The celebration served as a reminder of the vital contributions of nurses in society. The program ended on a positive note with group photographs and refreshments.
