Report of International Women’s Day Celebration:
On 6th March 2020, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Subharti Medical College Swami Vivekanand University celebrated International Women’s Day as per the initiative by the Government of India.
The event was organized by the students of MBBS-2018 batch under the able guidance of Mrs. Surbhi Gupta Ma’am, Head of Department of Pharmacology. The event was held in the Council Hall in the college premises. It was well attended by the students of MBBS-2018 and MBBS-2019 batch along with teachers from various departments. It was a lecture series in which there was active participation of the students as well as the teachers. The event highlighted their thoughts on issues like women empowerment, safety & security, gender sensitization and equality. It was an inspiring and learning experience for everyone as they got the golden opportunity to broaden their knowledge about such an important and sensitive topic. The programme concluded with a Walkathon conducted by students of MBBS-2019 batch in the college campus with handmade posters to spread our message to the people.
