The summary report of Extension/Out Reach Activity held on 01/11/2021 By Civil Engineering Department
An Extension activity on ” Application of Soak Pit to minimize the Wastage of Water along with Ground Water Table Recharge. “was organized by the Civil Engineering Department, Subharti Institute of Technology and Engineering, Meerut in composite school, village Khadoli, Meerut on 01/11/2021. The main objective of this activity was to aware the villagers for saving the water as well as recharging of groundwater table by making of rechargeable soak pit. Through this activity, the villagers had an idea to save the water for the future & recharge the groundwater table. The students explained the advantages in an easy way with the help of a diagram & chart for making of soak pit. The activity was successfully completed with the guidance of Principal sir, HOD along with the help of faculty members & students.
