REPORT ON PATIENT SAFETY WEEK TRAINING PROGRAMME

 

The Patient safety week was observed and organized by the Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, Chhatrapati Subharti Nursing in collaboration with ANEI -Association of nurse Executives in India from 17/09/2023-23/09/2023. The theme of celebration was “engaging patients for patient safety. On Sunday ,17 Sep2023 the students of GNM 2nd year gave ward to ward health education regarding the rights and responsibility of patients for creating awareness about patients’ fundamental rights. Second Day 21 Sep 2023, Poster and slogan competition was held in Chhatrapati Shivaji Hospital where the students and staff Nurses participated with full Zeal and made wonderful posters and slogan related to patient safety Goals. In 23 Sep 2023 the classroom training about the methods and practices and various techniques to be implemented for the patient safety. It was held for oneday for B.Scnursing 3rd semester and training was given to the students for 4 hours by Prof. Mr.Anandh Sam ,and Associate Professor Ms. Blessy Mathewafter which the students performed the role play. And next day 25/09/2023, the classroom training for the patient safety protocols was conducted. The training was given by Master Trainers Prof.Anandh Sam and Associate Professor Ms. Blessy Mathew.The programme was Guided by Mr. Anant and Mrs. Sony Quality controller, Shivaji Chhatrapati Hospital, Meerutand Mrs. Sanju Solanaki, Nursing Superintendent.The teachers participated in health education Drive were Ms. Blessy Mathew Associate Professor and Mrs. Shivani Assistant Lecturer.The program was successfully organized byProfessor Mr. Anandh Sam and Associate Professor Ms. Blessy Mathewunder the guidance of Dr. Geeta Parwanda Principal, Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College.
