PRINCIPALS’ MEET

The Trained nurses’ Association of India moving ahead with commitment and dedication since 1908 organized the principal’s meet in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh medical faculty on 18-7-2023 at Panna Dhai Maa Subharti nursing college, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
The chief guest of this Workshop is Shri Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary, department of Medical Education, UP and Guest of honor Dr. Alok Kumar Shrivastava, Secretary and registrar, UP State medical Faculty
This programme inaugurated with the lightening of the lamp by the dignitaries – Maj. Gen(Dr.) G.K Thapliyal, Vice Chancellor, SVSU, Prof. (Dr.) Roy K. George, National President, TNAI, Mrs Marry J Malik, President, TNAI, UP State Branch, Dr. Ashok Kumar Bishnoi, Prof & Dean, Nursing, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Mrs. Annie Kumar, National Vice President, North Region, TNAI,Mrs. SanghamitraSawant, Asst. First session of this program was panel discussion on challenges specific to nursing students in Uttar Pradesh vis – a -vis those in Southern States, the Chairperson of this panel discussion was Dr. Ashok Kumar Bishnoi, Prof & Dean, Nursing, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, and moderator Dr. Geeta Parwanda, Principal, PDMSNC. And the panelist was Prof. Lavanaya Nandan, Principal Nightingale College of Nursing, Mrs. Bindiya Goel, Director Academics, Kailash Institute of Nursing & Paramedical sciences & Prof. Balamani Bose, Principal, College of Nursing, LLRM. Second Session was presented by Mrs. Evelyn P Kannan, Secretary General TNAI on Potential Solutions to some of the Issues of Nursing Students Through Joining TNAI &SNAI.
Third session was panel discussion on Domestic & International Opportunities for Nursing Students in UP & ways to tap them. The Chairperson of this Discussion Maj. Gen(Dr.) G.K Thapliyal, Vice Chancellor, SVSU and moderator Mr. Abhishek Kapoor Senior Advisor, business Strategy Mission Nirmaya Govt. of India. And the panelist of this panel discussion Mr. Ashish Bhushan, Regional Manager, South Asia, OET, Mr. G. Sreekanthan, Chairman & Managing Director, EBEK and Mr. Ajinas AM, Asst. Secretary General, TNAI and next Session was presented by Mrs. Sanghamitra Sawant, Asst. Secretary General, TNAI on using Simulation Labs to Uplift Clinical Skills and last session was Presented by Dr. Neetu Devi, Consultant UP Nurses Council on Standards to Maintain Nursing Education in the Nursing Institute.
