Department of Periodontology & Implantology, Subharti Dental College & Hospital organised the P.A.L.S (Public Awareness Lecture Series) in collaboration with the Department of Public Health Dentistry in the Jatpura village of Meerut on 22.12.2022.
The event was organised to make the masses aware about the various ways to maintain good oral health. Professor & Head of department, Dr. Mayur Kaushik gave a talk about the correct method of toothbrushing and use of toothpaste, Dr. Nitin Tomar made the public aware about the use of mouthwashes and Dr. Sanchit Pradhan emphasized on the importance of healthy diet for the healthy mouth.
Free samples of toothpastes sponsored by the GSK (Glaxo Smith Kline) were distributed to the patients. About 50 patients participated in the camp.
Post graduate students Dr. Salil Joshi, Dr. Yashica Dhingra & Dr. Shubham Sharma and the interns from the department played an important role in the successful completion of the event.
