Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (Pharmacy Institute) organized a Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) – -sponsored Faculty Development Program on “Recent Trends in the Development of Novel Approaches in Anticancer Therapeutics” from 20th – 24th August 2024 at NIET Auditorium, Greater NOIDA. About sixty participants took part in the program. It covered the topic of causes, prevention and control strategies for cancer. Deliberations among expert lead to formulation of collaborative strategies among pharmaceutical industries, healthcare experts and academicians to address the cancer crisis effectively. Dr Kishore Singh, Professor and Head, Radiation Oncology, Subharti Medical College and Hospital, was invited as chief guest for valedictory session on 24th August 2024.
