An awareness talk on Road Safety and Traffic Rules was held at Subharti Medical College by the Community Medicine Department. Dr. Bhawana Pant (HOD) felicitated Mr.
Sunil Kumar Sharma (Secretary Mishika Society)
who gave a rousing speech, connected very well with the students, educated about various documents required to drive a vehicle, Road Signs and their meaning, motivated everyone to assist road traffic accident victims by mentioning incentives available for such a service.Mr. Amit Tiwari ( Instructor, Department of Transport) took the stage to educate us about practical matters like emergency first aid and how to save oneself in case of getting stuck in a vehicle with help from Mr.Namit Malik ( Head Constable), Miss Prathana (Female Head Constable) and Miss Deepika ( female constable ). The talk ended with everyone taking a pledge to be a responsible citizen on the road and follow all rules with a vote of thanks by Dr. Bhawana Pant. Master of Ceremonies was Dr. Richa Srivastava.
The Faculty of Community Medicine Dr. Pawan Parashar, Dr. Varsha Choudhary, Dr. Anuradha Dave, Dr. Monika Gupta, Dr. Chhavi Kiran Gupta, Dr. Rijul Ranjan, Dr. Kaynat Naseer, Dr. Sartaj Ahmad, Dr Dharmender Singh were present.
Among other tutors Dr. Anchal Sharma, Dr. Shubham Sirohi,Dr. Akshita Rohit Yadav and Dr. Mani Gupta were also present.
Students MBBS 2020, interns, Mr. Mohd. Farhat, Mr.Virender Kumar and Mr. Marshul Ahmad were present at the occasion.
