Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU), Meerut, organized an Innovation, IPRs and Prototype Development Session featuring Dr. Parikshit Bansal and Mrs. Kompal Bansal from Bansal IP Associates, Punjab. The session focused on innovation-driven product development, intellectual property rights (IPRs), and commercialization strategies, offering practical insights to faculty members and researchers.
The programme began with a welcome address by Professor R. K. Jain, Dean, Faculty of Science, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, who highlighted the importance of innovation and IPR awareness in transforming academic research into tangible products.
The session was formally inaugurated by Professor Dr. Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, Dean – Research & Development, SVSU, who emphasized the role of structured IPR support and prototype development in strengthening the university’s innovation ecosystem.
Professor Dr. Shalya Raj, Chief Executive Officer, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, addressed the gathering and stressed the significance of research, innovation, and sustainable product development in higher education institutions. He appreciated the initiative and congratulated the organizing team for facilitating meaningful industry–academia interaction.
During the academic interaction, Dr. Parikshit Bansal and Mrs. Kompal Bansal shared expert insights on innovation, product design, patent filing, protection of intellectual assets, and market-oriented prototype development. Their session provided hands-on perspectives on converting ideas into protected and scalable products.
A key highlight of the programme was the launch of E-Cycles of “PlusX Electric” within the SVSU campus, reinforcing the university’s commitment to sustainability and green innovation. PlusX Electric is a pioneering mobility-tech company dedicated to revolutionizing the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem. With a foundation built on the principles of accessibility, convenience, and sustainability, PlusX Electric aims to bridge the gap between traditional transportation and a green, electric future. Mr. Shivam Sareen CEO- India was present during the inauguration.
