The Department of Liberal Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, organized a Guest lecture on “Time Management & Work Efficiency: Smart Strategies for Professionals” on 21st February 2026 at 10:00 a.m. onwards in the Conference Hall, Sixth Floor. The objective of the session was to enhance professional productivity and equip participants with smart time management strategies.
The resource speaker for the session was Dr. Preeti Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Journalism & Mass Communications, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. She delivered an insightful and engaging lecture focusing on practical techniques for effective time utilization and improved work efficiency.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Amrita Chaudhary, Assistant Professor. The distinguished speaker was warmly welcomed with a planter by Dr. Jyoti Gaur, Head of the Department of Liberal Arts and Humanities, in the gracious presence of Dr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi.
During her address, Dr. Preeti Singh emphasized the importance of goal setting, prioritization of tasks, disciplined scheduling, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. She also introduced practical tools such as daily planners, time-blocking techniques, and productivity assessment methods. The lecture was enriched with real-life examples and experiential activities that encouraged active participation. The interactive exercises helped attendees identify time-management challenges and develop workable solutions.
The program was attended by faculty members including Dr. Mohini Mittal, Dr. Shalini Singh, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Dr. Ajay Kumar, Mr. Kapil Kumar, Dr. Nishma Singh, Dr. Shalu Nehra, Dr. Neetu Yadav, Dr. Mansi Chaudhary and Dr. Ram Prakash Tiwari.
Among the non-teaching staff present were clerks Mr. Aakash and Mrs. Kajal, attendants Mr. Omendra and Mr. Aman, and Mr. Kuldeep. Students namely Ankit, Shikha, Priyakant, Saidar, Farhana actively participated along with the other students and benefitted from the session.
The event proved to be highly informative, engaging, and practically beneficial for all participants. It successfully highlighted the significance of smart time management practices in achieving professional excellence.
