A Value-Added course was organized by the Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics under the able guidance of Dr. Nikhil Srivastava, Principal, Subharti Dental College & Hospital, and Dr. Vineeta Nikhil, HOD, Dept. of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics for the interns on the topic “POST TO RECREATE”. The lectures were delivered by the guest speaker Dr. Sheeba Sharma, MDS Prosthodontics, course co-ordinator Dr. Padmanabh Jha, Dr. Navneet Kaur, and Dr. Sonal Sahu.
Demonstrations on post-space preparation, post-space treatment, post-pre-treatment, post-cementation, and core build-up were given followed by hands-on by all the participants on individual extracted teeth under the guidance of Dr. Padmanabh Jha, Dr. Navneet Kaur, and Dr. Sonal Sahu
Certificate of Participation was awarded to the participants by the HOD Dr. Vineeta Nikhil and the faculty members of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics. All the participants enhanced their knowledge and skills through interactive sessions and hands-on. Pre and post-course assessments were done and feedback was taken from the participants after the completion of the course for their suggestions.
