ONE DAY WEBINAR ON USE OF TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION
On August 10th 2021 the Department of Library and Information Science of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University organized a one day webinar on “Use of Technology in Education”.
Prof. (Dr.) V. P. Singh, Vice-Chancellor, SUSV highlighted the importance of this webinar. In his introductory speech, he throws a beam of light on the use of ‘Technology’ in the field of Education which is jointly beneficial for the students and teachers.
Director of Distance Education Prof. (Dr.) Santosh Sharma also highlighted the important aspect of technology and its importance. She said that technology helps in achieving goals and objectives of online and distance mode by using different digital teaching tools like smart board projector, mobile etc.
Prof. (Dr.) Sudhir Tyagi, HOD, Department of Library and Information Science, also shared his views about the importance and role of technology in education in libraries. He said that technology helps to make libraries more advanced by introducing different software.
In the last session of the webinar Dr. Sanjeev Tyagi and Dr. Shashi Raj Tavatiya shared their views about the importance of technology in the field of education. It brought a drastic change in education at the time of the pandemic.
Dr. Kavita presented a vote of thanks to all the reputed persons, resource persons, employees, faculty members and the students.
