WORLD HEALTH DAY-2026

Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, in collaboration with Nursing scholar society-Lavendar chapter Delhi NCR , successfully organized world Health Day-2026 in Maharani Laxmibai auditorium. The event was conducted on the basis of the theme “Together for Health, Stand with Science”.
Program was inaugurated by Dean Ex.Captain.Dr.Geeta Parwanda and Dr.Anuragh Srivatsava ,HOD oncology Department,CSSH. engaging.The program commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony by the dignitaries and faculty members, symbolizing knowledge, hope, and commitment towards Health.
After the inauguration, Dr.Geeta Parwanda,Dean/Principal Panna Dhai Maa subharti Nursing College welcomed the gathering and shared valuable insights on the importance of world Health Day and its theme “Together for Health, Stand with Science”. Dr. Anuragh Srivatsava ,HOD Oncology Department,CSSH delivered a key note address.
Inter collegiate E-Poster competition and Innovative Ideas / Exhibition on working models were successfully conducted as a part of this event. Total 23 E-posters were received from different colleges all over Delhi NCR and other part of India including , Karnataka,Madhya Pradesh and Uttarkant.
The evaluation of the working model competitions was carried out by Dr. Anuragh Srivatsava HOD of the Oncology Department.
Then the program was proceeded with Guest Lecture. Dr.Rahul Bansal , Community Medicine department ,SVSU and Wellness centre Incharge delivered a informative and interactive session with the Nursing students on the topic of success in life through spiritual & mental Development.
Nursing and Medical students actively participated in Innovative Ideas presentation which was evaluated by Dr.Archana ,Department of Physiology, SVSU. Students presented creative and innovative ideas on health care outcomes.
E-Posters were evaluated by Professor. Thongam kapiltha Secretary ,Nursing scholar society ,lavender chapter and Dr.Archana ,Department of Physiology, SVSU.
Role play and health education activities were also conducted by BSc Nursing Internship students as a part of World Health Day celebration in community area-khajuri village from 10am onwards.
At the end vote of thanks was delivered by Assistant .Professor .Rakesh and the program was closed with National Anthem.
