मेरठ। स्वामी विवेकानन्द सुभारती विश्वविद्यालय के डेन्टल कॉलिज के ओरल और मैक्सिलोफेशियल सर्जरी विभाग,द्वारा राष्ट्रीय सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता अभियान के अंतर्गत सुभारती पुलिस चौकी, दिल्ली हरिद्वारा बाईपास एवं सुभारती विश्वविद्यालय के सामने यातायात पुलिस की मदद से जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। अभियान के मार्गदर्शक सुभारती डेन्टल कॉलिज के प्राचार्य डा. निखिल श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि राष्ट्रीय सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता अभियान का उद्देश्य लोगो को यातायात के नियमों के प्रति जागरूक करके लापरवाही के कारण होने वाली दुर्घटनाओं को रोकना है। इस दौरान डेन्टल कॉलिज के मुख शल्य चिकित्सा विभाग द्वारा भारी वाहनों एवं ऑटो रिक्शा आदि पर रिफ्लेक्टर स्टिकर चिपकाए गए और पैंपलेट बाटी गईं तथा वाहन चालकों व जनता को इस अभियान से रूबरू कराके यातायात के नियमों से जागरूक कराया गया।
राष्ट्रीय सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान का नेतृत्व डेन्टल कॉलिज के मुख शल्य चिकित्सा विभाग के प्रमुख डॉ विशाल बंसल ने किया। उन्होंने बताया कि भारत में सड़क दुर्घटना यातायात के नियमों के प्रति लापरवाही से होती है। जिसमें हर साल बड़ी संख्या में लोग जान गवा देते है। उन्होंने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान के अंतर्गत लोगो को जीवन की महत्ता बताते हुए यातायात के नियमों से विस्तारपूर्वक जागरूक किया गया है।
अभियान को सफल बनाने में डॉ अपूर्व मोवार, डॉ प्रजेश दुबे, डॉ सुशांत भटनागर, डॉ शेली शर्मा, डॉ नितीश गुप्ता, अपूर्व, अविनेश, वैभव, गौरव, सितारा, नायाब, शिवम्, दिव्यांश, तन्वी, शिमोना, साक्षी, संस्कृति, प्रवीण, अतुल, मनोज एवं पोशन का प्रमुख योगदान रहा।
Subharti Dental College Road Safety Campaign
A public awareness program was organized under the National Road Safety Awareness Campaign initiated by the Government Of India by Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department, Subharti Dental College, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. The initiative was conducted with the help of the Traffic Police. Dr. Nikhil Srivastava, the principal of Subharti Dental College said that the objective of the National Road Safety Awareness Campaign is to prevent accidents due to negligence by making people aware of the existing traffic rules. During this time, reflector stickers were pasted on heavy vehicles, auto-rickshaws, etc.
The drivers along with the bystanders were made aware of the traffic rules by conducting this campaign.
The National Road Safety Campaign was led by Dr. Vishal Bansal, Head of Dental Surgery Department, Subharti Dental College. He said that road accidents in India occur due to negligence of traffic rules due to which a large number of people die every year. He said that under the National Road Safety Campaign, people have been made aware of the rules of traffic detailing the importance of life.
He also thanked Dr. Apoorva Mowar, Dr. Prajesh Dubey, Dr. Sushant Bhatnagar, Dr. Shelley Sharma, Dr. Nitish Gupta, Apoorva, Avinesh, Vaibhav, Gaurav, Sitara, Nayab, Shivam, Divyansh, Tanvi, Shimona, Sakshi, Culture, Praveen for making the campaign a success. Atul, Manoj and Potion had a notable contribution.
