BASANT PANCHAMI CELEBRATION

Saraswati Pooja and Kite flying competition was organized on the occasion of
Basant Panchmi i.e. on 05/02/2022 in Medical College. The event started with
Almighty Saraswati Vandana followed by Hawan. It was followed by a Kite flying
competition and some food on the Terrace of Community Medicine. Total of
10 Teams participated. The award for the most innovative name was won by Dr. Arti
Tyagi for Flight of Ideas – Psychiatry Team who were given close competition
by Femur Flyers – Ortho Team, Cutting Patangbaz – Surgery Team and many
others. Most of the kites were cut by Medicine Team (Medicine Flyers) and
Central Lab Team (Dexters Laboratory). Residents and faculty gave a thumbs-up for more such events in future as it brings harmony, coordination and a
sense of happiness to the workplace.

Subharti Nursing College

Faculty of Law

On the occasion of ‘Basant Panchami,’ a program was organized by the cultural committee of Subharti Law College. On this occasion, Saraswati pooja was done by the faculty members along with all the nonteaching staff of Subharti Law College.

The program was started with the lamp lightening by Prof. (Dr.) Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, Dean Faculty of Law, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Meerut. Then after prayer ‘He! Sharde Maa’ was sung by Dr. Reena Bishnoi, Dr. Sarika Tyagi and Mrs. Afreen Almas. After Saraswati Pooja sweets were distributed among the presented faculty members along with all the non-teaching staff members.

On the other hand, an Online Quiz was also organized in which we sent a Google form having 10 questions to all the students of Subharti Law College and concluded that 91% of the audience was aware of the significance of the day.
