Subharti University Hosts its 10th Convocation Ceremony, Graced by Honorable Governor of Uttar Pradesh
3,153 Degrees and Diplomas, 90 Gold Medals Awarded, and 81 PhDs Conferred
Subharti University celebrated a significant academic milestone by hosting its 10th Convocation Ceremony on 4th September 2024, honoring the scholarly achievements of its graduates. The ceremony, held at the Maangalya Auditorium, marked the culmination of years of academic dedication, with 3,153 degrees, diplomas, and certificates awarded, 81 PhD degrees conferred, and 90 gold medals distributed to meritorious students.
The event was presided over by Smt. Anandiben Patel, Honorable Governor of Uttar Pradesh, as the Chief Guest. Honorable Mr. Justice K. G. Balakrishnan, former Chief Justice of India, and Dr. Laxmikant Bajpai, Honorable Member of Rajya Sabha, attended as Guests of Honor. Dignitaries from Subharti University, including Dr. Stuti Narayan Kacker, Chancellor, Major General (Retd.) Dr. G. K. Thapaliyal, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Atul Krishna, Founder of Subharti Group, and Dr. Shalya Raj, CEO, were also present to witness the achievements of their students.
In his opening address, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Thapaliyal presented the University’s progress report, highlighting its academic and research advancements. The ceremony also recognized the exceptional accomplishments of students, with 32 Certificates of Excellence, four Chancellor Medals, and four Cash Prizes awarded.
During her keynote address, Hon’ble Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel emphasized the significance of the Convocation Ceremony, not only as a celebration of academic success but also as a recognition of the sacrifices made by parents. She praised Subharti University for its commitment to following the principles of Swami Vivekananda and honoring India’s unsung Freedom Fighters and Martyrs. Encouraging the graduates to embody the true spirit of education, she urged them to use their knowledge and skills to positively impact society.
The convocation ceremony was a proud moment for the university, its faculty, students, and their families, symbolizing the transition from academic life to future endeavors.
