12th World Hindi Conference, Fiji

Dr. Shobha Raturi, Assistant Professor, Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences participated in the 12th World Hindi Conference organized from 15/2/2023 to 17/2/2023 at Nadi, Fiji on “From Traditional Knowledge to Artificial Intelligence.

”  and presented her research on “Hindi in Literature and Culture” in the parallel session of the main subject. During the conclave she introduced Subharti University to the Hindi language scholars and academicians as an institution that pioneers in the propagation of knowledge, sacraments, culture and patriotism.

She heralded the university’s motto, “Utishtha Prapya Varani Bodhat,” during the International Conference in the foreign lands of Republic of Fiji. The conference was a joint patronage of the Department of Official Language, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, and the Government of Fiji. Dr. Subramaniam Jai Shankar, Minister of External Affairs, Government of India, and Ratu William, President of Fiji, presided over the conference as chief guests.

About 3000 government delegation members, researchers, and Hindi scholars from India and abroad participated in the conference.
