Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College organized a three-day MakeIntern Training Program in collaboration with Zonal Championship, training partner with the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell), IIT Hyderabad, on “Critical Care Nursing & ICU Protocols” from 3rd February 2026 at Lecture Theatre–1 (LT-1), PDMSNC. The collaboration was further strengthened through association with E-Cell IIT Hyderabad, a non-profit student organization committed to fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership among college students across India. Through mentorship, exposure, and flagship initiatives such as E-Summit, E-Cell IIT Hyderabad provides a strong platform for skill development, industry interaction, and national-level engagement, making it a valuable academic and professional partner.

The training program was conducted for B.Sc. Nursing Interns, M.Sc. Nursing students, NPCC students, and Post Basic Nursing students, with a total participation of 50 students. The program commenced with an auspicious lamp lighting ceremony by the special guest Mrs. Payal Priya, Global Coordinator Nurse, along with Dr. Ambli Venu (Professor, PDMSNC), Mr. Sriram (Professor, PDMSNC), Mrs. Madhuri (Associate Professor, PDMSNC), and Mrs. Khusboo (Associate Professor, PDMSNC). Following the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Ambli Venu Ma’am addressed the gathering with inspirational words, motivating students to enhance their competencies in critical care nursing and professional practice.

Subsequently, the stage was handed over to Mrs. Payal Priya, the guest speaker for the training sessions. She has over 11 years of experience in virtual client coordination, particularly in the areas of oncology, lifestyle diseases, and acute care support, along with 8 years of experience as a Nurse Educator. During the sessions, she delivered structured training integrating clinical best practices, emergency response principles, patient safety standards, and protocol-driven care approaches. The sessions focused on ICU protocols, critical care nursing practices, and professional skill enhancement, enabling participants to gain practical insights and confidence in managing critically ill patients.

The program was successfully coordinated by Mrs. Khusboo under the able guidance of Dr. Geeta Parwanda, Principal, PDMSNC, and concluded with positive feedback from participants, who highlighted the program’s relevance, effectiveness, and practical value in enhancing clinical nursing practice.
